Valminud on töökeskkonnajuhendid Eesti ettevõtetele.

Sotsiaalministeeriumis on valminud 36 tegevusala töökeskkonnajuhendid nii eesti kui ka vene keeles. Need on mõeldud Eesti ettevõtetele, tööandjatele ja inimestele, kes tegelevad ettevõtetes töökeskkonna teemadega (töökeskkonnaspetsialistid, -volinikud ja -nõukogu liikmed). Juhendite abil soovitakse tõsta Eesti tööandjate teadlikkust töötervishoiu ja tööohutuse ning ohuolukordade, tööõnnetuste ja kutsehaiguste ennetamise teemadel.

Juhendite esimene pool tutvustab ettevõtte töökeskkonna korralduse põhivaldkondi. Selgitatakse, milline on hea töökeskkond ning tutvustatakse esmaseid olulisi teemasid (nt ohutegurid, riskianalüüs, tervisekontroll, isikukaitsevahendid), muu hulgas ka seda, et Eestis reguleerib töökeskkonda töötervishoiu ja tööohutuse seadus.

Kuna näiteks kaubanduse, transpordi  ja metallitööstuse ohutegurid on väga erinevad, siis juhendite teine pool sisaldab teavet iga konkreetse tegevusala kohta, näiteks millised on enamlevinumad ohutegurid ja probleemid töökeskkonnas ning kuidas neid vältida.

Juhendeid on kavas edaspidi ajakohasena hoida Tööinspektsiooni ja Eesti ettevõtete töökeskkonnaspetsialistide abiga, sest just neil on teave, milliste ohuteguritega Eesti ettevõtted kokku puutuvad.

Töökeskkonnajuhendid arendati Taani töökeskkonnajuhendite eeskujul ja Euroopa Sotsiaalfondi rahastamisel.
